Hi, I'm Dr. Sue Weaver
Over 30 Years of Dog Training Experience
As a young girl when I got my first dog, I checked out every book at the public library on how to train a dog. A neighbor was so impressed with how well my dog was trained, he paid me to train his two Doberman Pinscher pups basic obedience. I was 12 years old at the time and I was hooked! I have been training dogs for others and teaching classes most of my adult life. I enjoy competing with my dogs. Here are some titles and awards we have earned over the years:
Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dog International Certification, Trick Dog, Rally Novice, Companion Dog Novice Obedience, Highest Scoring Working Dog in Obedience Trial, Number 5 Rally Obedience Rottweiler in the US in 2020, Number 1 American Water Spaniel in Rally Obedience in the US in 2007, along with many first place wins.
There's No Place like Home
I treat my dogs as valued family members. My dogs do not live in a kennel, but are indoor/outdoor dogs that share my life and home. To that end- All training is geared to help your dog put his best PAW forward! I believe that with every interaction we have with our dogs, we are training them- for better or worse! My goal is to help you build a positive bond with your dog, forming a well-mannered companion you can live with.
