What's Happening at GDU?
On Wednesday, Sept. 30th, a new beginner's class will start. This will include the AKC STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen class and test. Class starts at 6pm and finishing by 7pm. Mixed breeds and puppies 4 mos and up are welcome. I must see a copy of your dog's vaccinations before coming to class. Sign up under services as there are limited spaces!
Our puppy, "Guin" at 16 weeks and again at 7 months. You can meet her in the upcoming beginner class!

Canine Ambassador Team Grissom has logged three sessions this summer teaching children about safety around dogs! Call to book an event.

Congratulations to: Jennifer Parker with Border Collie "Rowdy" CGC, Mr. Miller with Border Collie "Brodie" CGC, Brelynn and Derrick with German Shepherd Dog "Ayla". Earning STAR Puppy titles were Rylee Moore with Golden Doodle "Penny" and Livi Parker with Border Collie "Lilly". Livi trained her puppy herself!
About Me
I am Dr. Sue Weaver and well behaved dogs are my passion. I have been training dogs since I was a young girl, and graduated on to training dogs for others, and teaching classes. I am an American Kennel Club approved evaluator for the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy program, the Canine Good Citizen programs, and the Trick Dog programs. I use kind methods and positive reinforcement for a happy and obedient dog. I am a recognized expert on understanding dog behavior and teaching bite prevention.

"Grissom" finished his conformation championship with a string of majors at the North Carolina Working Dog Classic. He is now officially known as Ch. Darkstarr's Gemstone Grissom Von Knopf, CGC, TKN, VHMA. He finished at age 21 1/2 months in just a few shows!
"Grissom" earned his Rally Obedience Novice title at the Clemson Kennel Club followed by his Fit Bronze title so far this year.
